The creators of Elden Ring Seamless Co-op are now injecting infinite multiplayer into Dark Souls 3
Elden Ring Seamless Co-op Mod is one of the best unofficial plugins for Fantasy RPG from FromSoftware. Not only will it allow you to travel between the two with your good friends, it also frees you from the usual limitations of Frofsoft multiplayer. As our own Wes Fenlon was enthusiastic last year, “make Elden’s ring feel like a real cooperative game, rather than pieced together around FromSoftware’s trademark odd online system A cooperative experience together.”
After injecting the co-op with Armored Core 6 last year, the creator of Mod is just YUI, who shifts his focus to another Fromsoft Game: Dark Souls 3. On Friday, Yui released a video of Dark Souls 3 CO-OP MOD in action, describing it as a mod that “deletes all multiplayer boundaries and allows for persistent connections after death.”
The video shows Yui and a friend crossing the Lothric Castle area of Dark Souls 3 to fight dancers in the Arctic Valley. They are together, tying the dancers into knots, although that’s not that compelling, as you can fight the bosses with the rest of the players in DS3 anyway. But usually a win will end the multiplayer game.
Once the dancer spins the last pirouette, the couple goes on Enter the castle itself, carve your own way through a group of ordinary enemies, then reach the bonfire and teleport to the Firelink shrine. Neither player arrives at the shrine without any problems and then turns back to the castle for adventure, all without DS3, having been idle, breaking down or throwing a huge tantrum.

I have to say, it looks brilliantand again highlight how much fun you get from the game of shoes when you can bring your friends. YUI doesn’t provide additional details about the Mod or how it works, but they do “play with friends from the tutorial until the end of the game, and there is no sync progress, and no resummon or interruption.” Additionally, they add “Intrusion” is optional, active by default, and players can adjust the multiplayer zoom of enemies to [their] In other words, this is the full-featured collaboration model of Dark Souls 3, just like Elden Ring’s seamless co-op mod.
Yui simply said it was “work ongoing”, YUI simply said there was no news about when the Mod would actually be released. After their work on Elden Ring, Modder is indeed doing more co-ops. In the FAQ on the NexusMods page of Elden Ring Seamless Co-op Mod, Yui asked the question: “Will you make similar mods for Dark Souls?” Then they answered “No.” They might mean Specifically Dark Souls runs on older technologies than Dark Souls 3 and Eldon Rings, and it’s hard to create seamless multiplayer modes.
Anyway, it’s great to see Yui bring their excellent multiplayer modification skills to other Fromsoft games. Given that its next project, Elden Ring Neightrein, is a multiplayer version of RPG, it may stand out from Modder’s book. Of course, Fromsoft realized Yui’s work and even said that this might “consider similar ideas” in future games.
