Nintendo Direct has original Switch games and absolutely no Switch 2-Ness locked content, you can watch it here

Looking up, Nintendo has just locked in the direct display cabinet for March 27, and this is tomorrow for me to write this article. Already used Switch 2 directly next week, you might be surprised to find that this just announced person will be related to the original switch game.

You ask, why do we get an OG switch-centric display cabinet close to the Big Switch 2 One? I don’t know, maybe it’s a nice farewell party type deal where you can put your wallet out and put some cash on the one you’re going to throw away with the sexier Joy-Cons.

You can directly contact the original switch Nintendo via the video above on March 27, 2025. It will start 2 pm GMT, 10 a.m. and 3 pm ET. Wherever you are, you can play, thriving, video games console games as they were then, and you will never try to sell in a bad market in the near future so that you can afford the Switch 2.

As for what you’ll see, literally, what Nintendo said is that there will be “a Nintendo Switch game of about 30 minutes” and absolutely “no updates about the Nintendo Switch 2 during this demo”. To do this, Nintendo UK’s tweet about this is actually followed by another trend in April Switch 2 Direct Direct, so Ninty has no chance here.

Given what has happened recently, dare we dream of seeing Hollow Knight: Silksong? Maybe, but people like Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Legends: Za feel that the possible safer bets may at least lead you to seriously considering the theory involved in cakes.

No matter what happens, we know that the Switch 2 is backward compatible, so you should be able to play anything from the original switch, too. Well, apart from silk, if it turns out not to be a game, but just a collective fever dream that we all have.
